About.
Syco Billy’s are far from your average bluegrass band—they’re the pulse of a fresh musical movement that celebrates the timeless beauty of bluegrass while pushing boundaries with a sound all their own. This five-piece newgrass string band infuses traditional roots with a French twist, weaving in elements of Americana, folk, and genre-bending innovation. The result is a sound that’s both familiar and refreshingly original.
With exceptional musicianship, undeniable chemistry, and a stage presence that crackles with energy, Syco Billy’s deliver performances that are as soulful as they are unforgettable. Whether you’re a lifelong bluegrass fan or new to the scene, this band promises an experience that resonates long after the final chord. Syco Billy’s String Band is comprised of Glen Damewood, Luc Dauvin, Tristin Thomas, Bruce Carnine, and Don Baker
